Re: Adam Traore
The player Wolves want to sell to fund 3 players, ie for a lot of money? The player who plays in the same position as Bowen, so would likely be on the bench? Ridiculous idea.

Maybe you should have stuck this on the transfers thread rather than start up a special one of your own about it, unless you really like being laughed at.

Is this Adama’s brother?

Re: Adam Traore
Can’t see playing Bowen all game every game all season long.
$20 mill is apparently the asking price, wouldn’t call that excessive, not for a player of his quality.
Doesn’t just play as a winger, has played wing back too.

Would give our right side depth and coverage. Something we need. Unless you are happy with Yarmo, of course.

Re: Adam Traore
You're still talking about spending £20m+ on a backup player when we need to spend lots of money on positions we're really lacking in - CF, LB and CB.

Re: Adam Traore
Haven’t you heard we have aspirations for Champions league football. We have an opportunity to upgrade a needed piece to our squad, with a player who can play a little.

Chance we could get a CB at a discount considering the current contract situation of one of our targets.

He’s got Premier league experience so could hit the ground running.

Then there’s our new Billionaire investor to be considered.

You’re showing how small minded you are Nagel as usual.

Re: Adam Traore
No thanks. He's got no end product and very pricy indeed for what he offers.

Lee Trundle 8:13 Sun Jan 2
Re: Adam Traore
For a player who's supposedly courted by Liverpool and Tottenham, his STATS are pretty shit.

10 goals, 18 assists in 150 games.

He plays up front a few times for Wolves. Probably as close to Antonio we're likely to get, based them both build like ox's.

£20m is maybe worth a punt if the idea is for MOYES to do his trick of turning wingers into strikers.

Re: Adam Traore
I completely agree with that, Lee Trundle. It wasn't that long ago there was a discussion about Traore and I was saying similar.

I have reservations about his stats. But, then there's something telling me Moyes can work his magic.

If Moyes had never converted Arnautovic and Antonio like he did, then I wouldn't be that fussed for Traore.

I'd like to think if we did sign him, Moyes would work his magic. But, I can see the reasons for not having him.

Re: Adam Traore
I think people are looking into his goals and assists far to much , he can literally drag three defenders with him and leave them on his heels creating a lot of space and stretching teams . We love playing on the counter and he would be perfect imo

Re: Adam Traore
For the last time - you can't even see the running track, so why would need this bloke?

Pagey 9:00 Sun Jan 2
Re: Adam Traore
He should be a lot better than he is and he hasn’t really improved enough over the last couple of seasons. His end product is nowhere near good enough.

On his day he can be devastating, but that day only comes every now and then and we need consistency. He’d be too much of a gamble.

Stay well clear

Nagel 9:29 Sun Jan 2
Re: Adam Traore
The only reason people talk about this bloke at all is because he has similar physical attributes to Antonio, with strength, power and pace. But Antonio, even when playing as a winger, always provided goals and assists. This bloke never has, and far from improving with experience, he's managed zero goals and zero assists in 19 games this season.

He will never be converted to a decent CF, and is a worse RW than Bowen and Antonio, so why the hell would we even think about wasting £20m on this bloke, when we have so many other positions that need strengthening.
